London sees commercial sense of alliance
"One of the interesting questions is what this means for the much-vaunted Franco-British defence relationship," said Clara Marina O’Donnell of the Centre for European Reform. "EADS felt very much excluded from the Franco-British relationship but any deal will now make the relationship between the UK and Germany in defence procurement a good deal more significant."
